Start your journey with a visit to the impressive Sameba Holy Trinity Cathedral situated on Elia Hill, one of the most significant religious structures in Tbilisi which dominates the skyline, reaching 87.1 meters tall, making it the largest religious building in Georgia and one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world.

Driving across the scenic Kura River, you will reach the historic district of Abanotubani, where you will take a stroll along Shardeni Street, a popular pedestrian street, named after the French traveller Jean Chardin, that has become one of the city's main social and cultural hub. Discover the Tamada Statue, a diminutive yet significant statue depicting a tamada, or Georgian toastmaster, a significant figure in Georgian culture and social customs. 

Enter the Sioni Cathedral, one of the most significant and ancient churches in the city, which dates back to the 6th century, when it was initially constructed by King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the founder of Tbilisi. You can visit the Grapevine Cross and learn more about Saint Nino, who is widely credited with spreading Christianity throughout the country. 

You will pass by the Gabriadze Clock Tower, an enchanting landmark that captivates visitors with its unique design and charming character. You will also cross the modern Bridge of Peace, a stunning glass and steel structure that symbolizes the unity and harmony of Tbilisi.

Proceed towards the renowned Metekhi Church, situated on a cliff with a magnificent view of the river. You will learn about its fascinating history and admire the nearby statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the founder of Tbilisi.

You can enjoy a peaceful walk through the beautifully manicured gardens, walking paths and playful water fountains at Rike Park. From there, one will have the opportunity to take a Cable Car ride uphill towards Narikala Fortress. Prepare to capture the most stunning views of the city from above. Within its walls, you will find the remains of ancient structures and the recently restored St. Nicholas Church, which reflects the enduring spirit of the Georgian people.  

Descend from Narikala Fortress towards Abanotubani, the renowned sulfur bath district of Tbilisi. The district is also home to numerous cafes, restaurants, and art galleries, making it a vibrant spot for both relaxation and exploration. Continue your journey through the picturesque LegvtaKhevi Canyon to discover the LegvtaKhevi Waterfall, a hidden gem in the centre of the Old Town.

One of Tbilisi's most prominent avenues is Rustaveli Avenue, named after the famous Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli. This avenue is the cultural, political, and social heart of the city, bursting with history and modernity. It is brimming with history and modernity. Pass by the renowned Freedom Square, situated at the eastern end of Rustaveli Avenue, which is considered one of the city's most significant and symbolic landmarks. 

As you leave Tbilisi behind, head towards the Old Capital City, Mtskheta, one of Georgia's oldest and most significant cities. Visit the Jvari Monastery, a masterpiece of early medieval Georgian architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage site, perched atop a hill. It is believed that the monastery was built on the site where a wooden cross was erected by St. Nino.

Explore the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, one of the most revered and significant religious structures in the country which is not only a masterpiece of Georgian architecture, but also a symbol of Georgia's spiritual heritage and cultural identity. It was constructed in the fourth century, making it one of the earliest Christian churches in Georgia with its current structure built between 1010 and 1029 under the direction of Arsukidze. 

End your exploration of Mtskheta with a visit to the tranquil Samtavro Monastery. It is believed that the monastery was founded by King Mirian III and Queen Nana, who were instrumental in adopting Christianity as Georgia's state religion in the early 4th century.
