Situated along the picturesque Aragvi River, Ananuri Castle is renowned for its striking architecture, stunning views, and rich history.

Ananuri Castle is a historic fortress located in Georgia, about 70 kilometers north of Tbilisi, the country's capital. It was built in the late medieval period and served as the seat of the dukes of Aragvi, a powerful feudal dynasty that ruled the region from the 13th century until the 18th century. The fortress witnessed numerous battles and uprisings, playing a significant role in the region's defense. In 1739, the castle was attacked and partially destroyed, but it was later restored and continued to be used as a military stronghold.
