Discover the real Westeros during your private day tour and walk in the footsteps of your favourite Game of Thrones characters such as Arya, Melisandre and Jon Snow on this tour of filming locations. On your private Game of Thrones tour, you will:
- Drive up through the rugged coast of Antrim to Carnlough and the Cushenden Caves
- Walk the cliffs of Fair Head
- Stop off at Larrybane Quarry and Ballintoy Harbour
- Walk through the iconic Dark Hedges
- Relax on a scenic drive back to your hotel
Your route takes you along the stunning coast of Antrim, stopping first at Carnlough, where you can see the spot where Arya successfully escaped the Waif in season six. Further up the coast you will be driven to the Cushendun Caves, where you can see the birthplace of Melisandre’s demon baby beneath Renly’s Camp. Also relive season eights’ fight between Jamie and Euron here.
Staying in Cushendun, have lunch at Mary McBride’s Bar (not included) and examine one of the Game of Thrones Doors, made from the storm damaged trees of the Dark Hedges, carved with scenes set in Braavos.
Continue the drive up to Fair Head and walk the crag to experience Dragonstone Cliffs, where Jon Snow encounters Daenerys and her dragon. A short ride then takes you to Larrybane Quarry which was featured as Renly's camp, where you were introduced to Brienne of Tarth when she won her duel. You will then be taken to Ballintoy Harbour, which is where Theon arrives in Lordsport on the Iron islands. Nearby, Ballintoy Beach is where Euron is drowned to become king of the Iron Islands.
You will then be taken along Kings Road, to the twisted trunks of the Dark Hedges. At the end of the Dark Hedges lies Gracehill House – call in for dinner and a drink (not included), and see another of the Game of Thrones Doors, this time commemorating Bran's transformation into the Three-Eyed Raven. Your route after dinner takes you through the rugged landscape of the Antrim plateau back to your hotel.
