Bedouin Way of life

The first inhabitants of Dubai were the nomadic Bedouin who lived a tough life traversing the desert with their flocks of camel, sheep and goats. Indeed, camels were used to explore the barren landscape, which were also a vital source of milk, meat and wool. Experience the desert for yourself with your expert local guide, who will take you into the sand dunes and immerse you in the striking desert environment.

You will be picked up from your hotel or at a prearranged meeting point early in the afternoon. You will have the pleasure of experiencing the rolling dune landscape during a session of dune bashing in your luxury air conditioned vehicle. Try your hand at sand boarding on the dunes, similar to snowboarding but without the snow.

Desert Delights

Take a camel ride over the golden dunes in the fashion of the local Bedouin population of bygone ages. Embrace the sunset while smoking the hugely popular shisha, a flavoured tobacco smoked through a hookah pipe or hubbly bubbly. This magical evening will end with a traditional Arabian BBQ where you will enjoy local delicacies which could include homemade hummus, olives, Arabic bread, lamb chops, marinated meats and lentil curries.

AOn tours cancelled more than 48 hours before the scheduled departure time, we are happy to offer our customers a full refund - minus a 5% credit card fee and the cost of any tickets that have been purchased.

For tours cancelled less than 48 hours before the scheduled departure time, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds. If you would like to reschedule a tour, this is usually possible if we are given enough notice, but we cannot guarantee the same guide.

Changes made to bookings may be subject to rebooking fees to cover the cost of tickets purchased, transport, guide rescheduling and administration.
