Barcelona, that beautiful and balmy Spanish city by the sea and home to architectural Gaudi wonders – also holds a major place in the hearts of football fans the world over!

Opened in 1957, Camp Nou - 'The New Ground' – is the home stadium of FC Barcelona. It is the largest stadium in Spain, and indeed Europe with a seating capacity of 99,354! Also the fourth largest stadium in the world, it is renowned for being the home of some of the greatest football players of all time: Ronaldinho, Diego Maradona, Ronaldo, and the unrivalled Lionel Messi, Barcelona's current main man and one of the world's best players.

It has hosted many major matches and tournaments over the years, like the 1982 FIFA World Cup. But has also hosted many other huge events, such as when Pope John Paul II held a mass for over 100,000 and became an honorary citizen of Barcelona. Rock legends like Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson, and U2 have played to massive crowds here, and in 1997 a concert by the Three Tenors, Carreras, Domingo, and the one and only Pavarotti was held in 1997.

Begin your private tour by circling parts of the imposing exterior and learn a bit about its groundbreaking construction back in 1957, its designers Francesc Mitjans and Josep Soteras, and the eye-watering cost: 1.73 billion euros!

On your private tour, you’ll be able to step out onto the second strand, and take in the electrifying atmosphere as you imagine a stream of 99,000 spectators converging! Then explore the fascinating and really interactive museum with lots of archive footage, artefacts, photos and memorabilia of this treasure trove of football history. You’ll also be shown the legendary trophy cabinet as you learn all about the legendary sports stars that have graced this arena over the years.

End inside the museum so you can explore more at your own leisure, or exit with your tour guide.

Please note that the tour starting time may be modified on match days or other events at Camp Nou. Our team will notify you accordingly if this happens.
