Most of Cesky's architecture has remained unchanged since the 16th century, so walking down its quaint streets will feel like you are travelling back centuries to a time when Cesky Krumlov was the home to 4 powerful noble families: the Lords of the Rose (Lords from Krumlov), the Rosenbergs, the Eggenbergs and the Schwarzenbergs.

You will have the opportunity to visit the second largest castle in Czechia- Cesky Krumlov Castle, the former residence of the Rosenberg family, who ruled this town for over 400 years, a period during which Cesky Krumlov was transformed into one of the most beautiful towns in Central Europe.  The owners of the castle used bears as part of their coat of arms and it started a tradition to keep bears in the castle to keep the symbolism.

Taking a walk down the winding streets of Cesky's Old Town will be a feast for the eyes of those who love architecture as you will spot Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque elements on many of the buildings that can be found on the way along with the great commentary of your tour guide.

For tours cancelled less than 48 hours before the scheduled departure time, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds. If you would like to reschedule a tour, this is usually possible if we are given enough notice, but we cannot guarantee the same guide.
