Learn how to make one of the most popular Argentine staples - ‘Empanadas’. They are an Argentine dish, extremely popular across the country that has grown to become a large part of Argentina’s food culture.

Empanadas can be found all over South America but in Argentina, every province has its own variety. They are hand-sized savoury pies and in Buenos Aires, (Argentina's capital) they are usually filled with ground or minced beef, ham and cheese, chicken, or swiss chard often prepared with a Béchamel-like sauce called 'Salsa Blanca' (White Sauce). For locals, there is no such thing as the ‘right time to eat them’ and they are perfect as a snack, a starter, a side or a full meal.

On this Virtual Cooking Class, you will learn how to make empanadas from scratch starting with the traditional dough side by side with your instructor on a seamless video call. Your chef will adapt to your pace, guide you step by step, and share their homemade empanadas recipe while telling you about life in Argentina and its rich culinary history.

· The list of ingredients required for the class will be sent prior to the tour, so it’s advisable to book this experience at least a week in advance.
· It’s designed as a private experience for you and your group. Each person/household can be connected from one device.

QWhat is your cancellation policy?

AOn tours cancelled more than 48 hours before the scheduled departure time, we are happy to offer our customers a full refund - minus a 5% credit card fee and the cost of any tickets that have been purchased.

For tours cancelled less than 48 hours before the scheduled departure time, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds. If you would like to reschedule a tour, this is usually possible if we are given enough notice, but we cannot guarantee the same guide.

Changes made to bookings may be subject to rebooking fees to cover the cost of tickets purchased, transport, guide rescheduling and administration.
