What makes this tour special

Old Town Geneva

Your tour begins at the picturesque Geneva Harbour where you will have the chance to see the magnificent 140m jet of water, that is drawn from the lake and is beautifully illuminated at night. You will then proceed to the Old Town where you will pay a visit to the St. Pierre Cathedral. Built in the 12th century, this stunning gothic masterpiece is renowned not only for its beauty but also as a centre of turbulent reformation.

Your tour will continue on to Bastions Park, which boasts many interesting sites, including the world famous Geneva University founded in 1559 by John Calvin, and the Reformation Wall, built to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Calvin's birth and 350th anniversary of the founding of the university.

You will discover much more of the glorious Old Town of Geneva, as you explore the winding alleyways and the narrow streets, whilst being directed by your expert local guide who will be more than happy to point you in the direction of hidden boutiques, Swiss eateries, and traditional chocolatiers.

United Nations

You will then hop on Geneva’s excellent public transport system to the United Nations Office at Geneva. Upon arriving at this vast complex you will come across the monumental Palais des Nations public square complete with fountains and the impressive Broken Chair sculpture. Here your expert city guide will explain the significance of this impressive monument as well as endeavouring to unravel the complex workings of the international organisation of cooperation that is the UN.
