Along the Great Ocean Road 

As famous touring routes go, the Great Ocean Road is one of the very best in the world. The Eucalypt woodland, rainforest and heathlands continue to enthrall travelers while the Southern Ocean’s crashing waves provide the perfect backdrop for the stark rock formations that the route is renowned for.

The trip begins when you are picked up from your hotel or a prearranged meeting point.  A stop will be made to spot one of Australia’s favorite animals, the Koala, while you feed parrots and rosellas, and keep an eye out for wild kangaroos. An Aussie style pub lunch will be recommended by your guide at the idyllic Apollo Bay. 

Walk through the rainforest of the Otway Ranges and admire some of the vast trees that can be found here. The final stops of the tour will be in Port Campbell where you will have the pleasure of seeing the world famous Twelve Apostles rock formations, formed over 20 million years ago. Following this there will be a stop at Lock Ard Gorge, lying on Shipwreck coast, where you will learn all about the astonishing tale of the two survivors of the Lock Ard wreckage.
